Meet Lulu, a fluffy little lamb with daisies in her wool and Pip the bluebird on her head. She plays a shiny silver flute in a spring meadow full of blossoms, and she can't wait to play with your child!
Toddlers Flute turns your phone or tablet into a real-sounding flute made for small hands. Every touch makes music, so even the youngest players succeed from the very first tap.
PLAY
Play Lulu's giant flute, where a little songbird sits on every key. Tap a key and its bird sings the note, hold it and the note grows, slide along the keys to run up and down, and shake your finger for a birdsong trill. Every colour you play paints its band of the rainbow above the flute, and when all seven shine, the rainbow celebrates! Every note is a real recorded flute. Record your own tune and play it back. Try more sounds: a birdie, a magic flute, piccolo, alto flute, recorder and ocarina.
REAL FLUTE
A big flute with its keys right where the fingers go. Close the keys like a real flutist and blow soft or strong: the more keys you close, the lower the note, and a strong breath plays it an octave higher. Tap Show me the scale and watch the fingers walk through C major.
SONGS
26 songs, from Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Mary Had a Little Lamb to Morning Mood, Vivaldi's Spring, Greensleeves, The Carnival of Venice and Lulu's own meadow dance, each with its own band in the blossoming orchard: baroque, Celtic, bossa nova, cha-cha, swing, a fife-and-drum march, a fairy dance and more.
• Magic mode: any key plays the next note, so your child sounds like a star at once.
• Follow mode: the right bird glows, so little musicians learn the melody.
• Listen mode: Lulu and the band play the whole song.
BAND
Your child and Lulu play the flute in a real band of drums, harp, guitar, cello and bells under the sunset sky. Choose a groove (bossa nova, cha-cha, Celtic, baroque, swing, disco, reggae, samba, a fairy dance or a march) and every key fits. Tap the big TWEET! button and Pip sings a sparkling birdsong over the band. Add flute tricks with one tap: ta-da, a cuckoo, birdsong, an owl, a whoosh, a flutter, fairy dust, peeping chicks, an echo and a big finish.
GAMES
In Egg Song every note of a song knocks on an egg in the nest until a fluffy chick pops out and hops onto the branch, and at the end Mama bird comes home to sing with her babies. In Sheep Jump every note sends a sheep leaping over the fence: low notes hop, high notes fly! Count ten sheep and the whole flock falls asleep. Repeat Pip's melodies in Copy Pip, and tell high from low with a canary and an owl in High or Low?
LULLABIES
Lulu curls up in the moonlit meadow with Pip, counting sheep as they jump the fence, while a soft flute plays lullabies with harp, strings and a music box. A sleep timer slowly fades the music out.
