Join an Individual Challenge to compete with other invited participants as an individual, or join a Team Challenge where everyone’s steps count toward a shared team goal. The app shows your daily step totals, calculates challenge progress, and updates a leaderboard so you can see where you stand as the challenge unfolds. Optional step tracking via Health Connect: If you choose automatic tracking, you can allow the app to read Step Count from Health Connect. This is used only to calculate and display challenge progress, leaderboard standings, and completion in the app. We request access only to Step Count (no other Health Connect data). You can allow, deny, or revoke permission anytime in Health Connect. If you don’t grant access, step-based tracking may be unavailable or may require manual step entry.
