The app was developed through a partnership between the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Carroll County Emergency Management Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors. This application functions as both an information hub and a mass notification system allowing agencies to quickly deliver accurate, real time information to the public. The Carroll County Sheriff & EM App is an interactive mobile app designed to assist the citizens and visitors of Carroll County, Indiana. The Sheriff’s portion of the app allows residents to connect with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office by submitting tips and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information. The Emergency Management portion of the app provides various features that strive to keep the citizens of Carroll County educated, prepared, and informed on preparedness and protective measures. Such features include contact information, storm shelter locations, school and road closure updates, severe weather information, and damage reporting.
