Västtrafik Bus on Demand is a test service using smaller buses that operate on demand.
Book your journey in the app and choose where and when to get on and off. You travel together with other passengers heading in the same direction.
How it works:
- Enter the address you want to travel from and to, and choose when you would like to travel.
- The app plans your journey from a bus stop near you to a bus stop close to your destination.
- A smaller bus will pick you up.
- Standard Västtrafik tickets are valid, such as season tickets and senior travel cards.
We are testing Västtrafik Buss on demand to explore how public transport can become more flexible and encourage even more people to travel sustainably. The service is being tested in different locations across Västra Götaland to help us understand where it works best.
Questions? You can find more information on the Västtrafik website or contact our Customer Service team on 0771-41 43 00.
Thank you for travelling together.
